My name is Per Renman and I have lived and worked in Africa for various periods since 1976.

Africa's people and magnificent nature and wildlife have always fascinated me and over the years I have visited many of the richest areas in eastern and southern Africa. Usually in the form of a tent safari, which for me is the ultimate setup for photographing and experiencing the wildlife even after dark. It is not unusual for us to be visited by hyenas, elephants and sometimes even lions near the tent site. We avoid areas where there are many other visitors and usually book our own private tent sites.

With more than 30 years of experience in game scouting and safety arrangements for camping in the bush, my guests usually experience it as a fantastic nature experience that they will never forget. In most cases we have experienced park rangers with good local knowledge with us who help with the tent site and planning which areas we visit to find and photograph lots of game.

A recommended arrangement is a 7-10 day safari where we camp for a few nights but also most of the time
after a few nights we go to a safari lodge in the vicinity to be able to shower, refuel the vehicles and eat a good dinner. I now plan to open up to more people to experience Africa's people, magnificent nature and wildlife. Camping in the bush can be combined with Lodge accommodation and if you want to combine it with some
days of sun and swimming at coral-white beaches, it's also fine. Or why not give it a try
deep sea fishing, or fishing for tiger fish, a visit to a Masai village or a walking safari.

In terms of costs, I am well below the established companies that offer safari trips to Africa. This is because I have no major administrative fees, we help each other with traveling and tearing down the tents, we cook together and thus avoid the often expensive safari lodges.
